The Children of Madaifu
Last month, we organized our first DRINK FOR CHARITY TUESDAY for Morning Tears. Throughout the month, we managed to collect around 1,000 Rmb for their activities.It's good but we are sure we will do much better on Tuesday January 18th for the Children of Madaifu, thanks to your support!
During the whole month of January, a Donation Box will be available at Beer Mania to collect your donations. And Tuesday 18th of January will be our second DRINK FOR CHARITY TUESDAY. During the whole day, every drink you take at Beer Mania will increase the Donation Box content by 10Rmb!!! The more you drink the more help the Children of Madaifu will get will get!!!

The Children of Madaifu need hope. Their first steps in life are difficult : their parents are dead or gone and they come from poor families in deprived Chinese provinces. Your support can allow them to stay in their villages, with their relatives and to continue to go to school.
Orphanages without Walls : the association places orphans and abandoned children in a relative’s home. An allowance is given to the foster family to provide for their basic needs and to finance their education.
Emergency help for street children : the association finances an emergency shelter for street children in Tianshui (Gansu), in partnership with the local Civil Affairs bureau. The children are fed, housed and taken care of.
It costs an annual average of 2200 yuan to finance each child partaking in the Orphanages without Walls scheme. With a small budget (RMB 600.000 last year), the association has provided for almost 100 children under the Orphanages without Walls program and more than 250 in the Tianshui emergency shelter.
More funding would allow us to: Help more children, Improve their schooling conditions, Give grants to those whishing to attend university.
